My first blog

    Introduction

    My name is Ethan Hannah, I'm taking a photojournalism class because I still haven't been able to decide on what my major is. I have always found photography interesting, but I haven't been able to pursue any class related with photography before. Instead of choosing one major immediately I wanted to explore different topics and see what I am passionate about. This is one of my first classes that I am really excited about. I want to learn how to properly use a camera so that the photos I take won't just be something I snap real quick with no effort. 

    I have already stepped way out of my comfort zone taking this class, I wouldn't normally ever go near people much less take pictures of them. But going out of my comfort zone is healthy, and it's something I haven't really done before. I love taking pictures of nature and the environment, so hopefully I will learn to be more comfortable with people too. I think that this class will especially be interesting as I take a lot of time to travel all around the world, so maybe I will get some interesting pictures from all around.

    Although I am very nervous to be in this class and be uncomfortable, I am also just as excited.

Three goals 

Three goals I have for this term are to..

1. Get better with a camera in general, learn the basics of having a nicer camera and how I can take better photos

2.Get more comfortable talking to people, making conversation and learning about them

3.As I mentioned before, I want to step out of my comfort zone and let myself learn in an uncomfortable situation
